John performs with various people and many different contexts... here are some of John's performances

KALIMBA CHANT

This piece was a spontaneous improvisation made on Naitauba island Fiji, where Otto Probst (keyboard) and myself would do hours of improvised music while our Guru Adi Da Samraj was working on His Art.

DANCING WITH THE JOY OF YOU

I love to play the North Indian classical style and this piece is a folk tune like piece played here with the wonderful tabla from Samrat Kakkeri.

JOHN BEYOND

This is composition I wrote based on the Raga Marwa/Puriya/Sohini scale. Dedicated to one of my first fusion heros, John McLaughlin. Subash Chandran does some amazing vocal percussion.

WHAT ARE YOU NOT TELLING ME?

This is our "Facing East Trio" playing this composition that goes between a few ragas while invoking some of the group "Weather Report" and the great keyboardist Joe Zawinul.

JOHN WUBBENHORST SOLO

This video features some solo bansuri pieces and is very meditative.

INFECTUOSO GROOVATISSIMO

This piece was inspired by the groove of South Indian percussion, here with Subash Chandran (ghatam) and Ganesh Kumar (kanjira).

Facing East Live with Victor Wooten

This video comes from a performance of John's "Facing East" group with Victor Wooten in Maryland 2010

John Wubbenhorst with South Indian Drum Masters

John performs here on the Austin Texas morning news with drum masters Subash Chandran and Ganesh Kumar
